Jennie Lee Cook

Jennie Lee Cook, Gamma Kappa chapter of UC Santa Barbara, had a noteworthy 2011 – giving birth to her beautiful son, Cody Preston Sullivan, in March and completing the NYC Marathon with her husband Brian in November.

“This was very special for us both,” says Jennie. “It took us four years to get in, and it was my first marathon after having Cody.”

The Delta Gamma San Diego Alumnae chapter is especially grateful to have Jennie on its team this year as vice president of meetings. She puts the same enthusiasm she has being a mom and marathoner into her volunteer work with Delta Gamma.

“I love being a Delta Gamma because no matter where you live or how old you are DG is  always there for you,” says Jennie. “I moved to Arizona in 2000 and did not know anyone.  I went to a DG alumnae meeting and grew close with nine other alums. They are still my best friends today.”

Jennie will be attending the Wine Tasting Social on Feb. 10. Be sure to say hello and congratulate her!

Jenn Ragusa

When Jenn Ragusa, Zeta Lamba chapter at UC Riverside, isn’t busy with her two children (3, 5) and running her successful stationary and invitation company Pink Star Design, you will find her at almost every Delta Gamma alumnae event. As vice president of programming for the chapter, Jenn has been integral in coordinating monthly meetings and events. In her spare time, Jenn also loves to teach Zumba!

It’s hard to find another Delta Gamma as loyal as Jenn. As an initiate of Zeta Lambda at UC Riverside, Jenn has held her number of positions within her local chapter and regionally. But Jenn says it’s her time as a collegiate development consultant that was her most memorable position.

“Being a CDC, I was able to live at EO for over a month during training,” says Jenn. “My favorite memory was rummaging through all of the old DG memorabilia, and we all tried on hats from the 20s and old vintage DG clothes. It was so much fun!”

Be sure to say hello to Jenn and thank her for graciously opening up her home for the Wine Tasting Social – her favorite event, as well!
